The fix for me was to right click the Qualcomm Atheros bluetooth driver in Device Manager > Update Driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > UNCHECK 'Show compatible hardware > Navigate to and select 'Qualcomm Atheros Communications > Select 'Qualcomm Atheros AR3012 Bluetooth 4.0 + HS ' and hit 'Next' > Accept/OK the next window stating it may not work.Īfter that it should just install the correct version. After installing it fully it should end up with error 43 and have that dreaded exclamation mark beside it.
